Last week, an opinion article titled "Should students really be patrolling our campus?" written by Chris DeMay, was published in the Whit. In this article, Chris discusses how, after the death of Donnie Farrell, Public Safety started a program that allowed students to participate in the patrolling of campus, aiding security officers, and having their work be counted as a paid internship.

For a University that prides itself on research, Penn sure likes making it hard for students to do their due diligence.
Last week, administrators said that the Online Syllabi Initiative won't happen until at least 2010.

Recently, there has been much coverage in the news about the position of Sinn Fein as a political party in Northern Ireland. Sinn Fein basically rallies for a United Ireland, meaning the six counties of Northern Ireland, presently under British rule, being returned to Irish rule.
